Fulham Cross Girls’ School aims to give girls the best possible academic success. We do this through delivering high quality teaching from a stable, well qualified teaching team. Our staff and leadership team have an excellent reputation. We hold on tightly to the values which have been driving our success at Fulham College Girls’ School for several years now. Key to this is that we are a standalone, single-sex school which develops a personalised approach to the curriculum for each student.
We are an inclusive and caring small, all girls, local, community school which has a strong focus on behaviour and routines because these enable the girls to succeed. Equally important is the way in which we actively promote equality and thereby offer a unique opportunity for young women from all faiths and backgrounds to succeed in their education and to become self-aware and confident global citizens.
As a school, our vision is ‘Empowering Tomorrow’s Women.’ To do this we instil the following seven principles:
To be empowered at Fulham Cross Girls’ School I need to:
Excel academically everyday
Motivate myself and others
Persevere through challenges
Own my behaviour
Work with purpose
Respect my community
The EMPOWER principles underline everything that we do at FCGS. We, as the students and staff at school, will uphold these at all times through our daily work so that all students can maximise their potential and be a success.
Fulham Federation comprises two successful inclusive multi-cultural schools at the heart of the Fulham community. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our learners from around the world who bring with them different experiences, languages and beliefs.
