The EMPOWER principles underpin all aspects of life at Fulham Cross Girls’ School and provide an overview of the expectations that the school has of all students, in order to ensure that they leave the school with a fully rounded understanding of what it is to be a good citizen.

The EMPOWER Day Programme is designed to provide all students with a rich and rewarding series of events and activities, designed to complement the broad and balanced curriculum at the school.  The programme is carefully planned to give all students the opportunity to experience activities that will support their Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural (SMSC) development.  Students in Year 10 and Year 11 also have their PSHEE programme delivered through the EMPOWER Days to support their Personal Development and Well-being.

EMPOWER Days take place half termly and all staff and students are involved.  Activities can range from trips to a range of Places of Worship or a museum to on-site workshops relating to Mental Health or Enterprise.  The programme is planned on a five year basis to ensure that the students have a full range of experiences and student feedback is gathered to support future planning.
