Wild times at Walton Firs

On a crisp autumnal October morning, 130 students and several unassuming teachers boarded the coach outward bound to Walton Firs in Surrey.  A quick journey saw us arrive safely in the hands of the staff at the Walton Firs Centre ready to embark on a day of fun filled activities.

First the girls headed for the climbing wall.  They bravely reached the summit in one piece and many students said that they had conquered their fear of heights as a result of their climb!

Next , we went to solve some highly challenging puzzles: climbing a swamp without getting muddy and moving heavy planks of wood down a ski slope to name a couple.

Finally, we commenced to the crates.  Courageously, each student participated by donning a harness and launching themselves down a zip wire!

We safely returned to school with some savoured memories we will cherish forever.
