Fulham Cross Girls’ School Shortlisted for Secondary School of the Year Awards
We are delighted to announce that today Fulham Cross Girls’ School has been revealed as one of the 8 shortlisted schools for the prestigious annual Times Educational Supplement Secondary School of the Year Awards.
The TES have stated that the awards, which are now in their eighth year ‘celebrate the vision, commitment and outstanding contribution to education made by teachers and teams in the classroom and the wider community.’
The TES website states: ‘this year’s entries were the strongest yet and that they reflected the dedication and inspiring teaching and leadership in UK schools.’
Executive Principal at Fulham Cross Girls’ School, Peter Haylock was thrilled with the news that the application for the school had been shortlisted and said: ‘I am so proud of the students and staff that work so hard every day in this wonderful school; it is a fantastic achievement to be shortlisted but it would be great to win’
The awards that will be hosted by TES take place on the 24th June at Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London where the winners of the competition will be revealed.
