International Evening

The annual International Evening was another great evening celebrating the array of nationalities and talents within the school.

The show was kicked off with a performance of ‘Ain’t Nobody’ by the Glee regional finalists. The outstanding comperes for the evening were year 9 students Hiba Al Moosawi and Wardad Shodeinde who engaged the audience throughout.

We were pleased to see a wide range of years involved including a year 7 Gamelan ensemble and a year 8 RnB Hip Hop dance group choreographed by Mr Lloyd. Students took to the stage as solo dancers including two fantastic performances by Amie Patel and Naerah Chaudhry and year 10s showcased their GCSE ensemble performances. Jenna Mornas in year 7 showed a high level of committed to her demanding French song and as it was St Patrick’s day we couldn’t possibly miss the opportunity to have Tia Akehurst performing an Irish jig for us all.

A massive congratulations to all those who performed and as Head of Department I  would like to thank all parents and teachers once again for their continued support.
