At Fulham Cross we believe that all students should study a broad and balanced curriculum. We believe in and deliver both a rigorous academic curriculum (evident in our GCSE and EBACC outcomes) but we also believe in developing the Arts and Practical Creative subjects.
Furthermore, we also believe passionately in the PSHEE curriculum. Following consultation with staff, students and parents last year we have made the decision to reintroduce weekly PSHEE in Year 10 and Year 11. In previous years, the PSHEE curriculum was delivered through EMPOWER days; however, as a result of the challenges that teenagers face in modern Britain we have decided that we would like to give our students more regular support and advice.
As a school we are passionate about developing the whole student and giving them the skills to cope with both the challenges that face them currently but also that may face them as young adults once they leave us. Our outcomes show that students achieve well at Fulham Cross and leave us with excellent qualifications but we believe these are worthless if they are not also confident, resilient and able to cope with challenges such as social media, relationships, health and emotional wellbeing.
