Work history:

A teacher at Hurlingham and Chelsea before coming to FCGS in 1985. I have had various roles and responsibilities throughout my career at FCGS.

Hobbies and interests:

I have lived in Fulham all my life and am a big Fulham Football Club fan - attending most their home and away games.

I am a keen traveller and live at home in Fulham with my two sons.

I am an educational consultant and a senior management team member  for the Prison Me No Way Trust.

Hobbies and interests:

In my spare time I like to try to keep fit by running and doing various physical challenges. I have just taken part in a coasteering experience and in the next year I am doing my third Tough Mudder event, completing the Three Peaks Challenge and running my second Marathon. 

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, visiting London’s attractions as well as getting away on city breaks. I also enjoy reading autobiographies about individuals who have inspired me.

Hobbies and interests:

I enjoy attending the theatre, reading, water skiing, horse riding and learning new skills - I recently just completed a dressmaking course at night school.

I live at home with my children and dog - whom I love to have long relaxing walks with.

Laura Grainger / Deputy Headteacher

Started at FCGS in 2012

Work history:

I was a qualified SENCo for 5 years and was part of the transformation of Burlington Danes Academy before joining the SLT at FCGS. At Fulham Cross my role has largely been outcomes which has involved ensuring that all students make incredible progress and benefit from a personalised approach and that no student falls through the net. During my time in charge of outcomes the school has consistently been in the top 1- 2%  of schools nationally for student progress.

Hobbies and interests:

I love travelling, being the in the countryside and long walks on the beach with my children and dog; cooking, reading, surfing and skiing when I can!

I am a passionate feminist and I love Fulham Cross; believing wholeheartedly in our EMPOWER ethos.
